The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He

Long ago in Korea there was a writer of ‘Fortune telling book of Tojeong’ , His name was Jiham Lee(Tojeong is his nick name), he and his teacher ‘Seo kyoug duk’ were walking through the village and one of guard stopped him. Guard said there was disease that spreads everyone died and all have left. Lee asked him “how come you haven’t left the village?” Guard replied, “someone has to stay to let others know, otherwise it will only spread and lose more lives.” Lee understood and turned around. He said to his teacher “what a great man isn’t he? He is saving lives with his own. May I see his fate. Sir?” Seo replied, “Don’t. People like him the fate will dodge, so there is no need.”
(Today’s fate can be changed only upon God’s will. When we serve him, love your neighbors, and obey to God’s word we will victor in our lives.)

A. wrong info reading your faith
1. In Asia there is thing called fortune teller, physiognomy, fortune by name, Taro card etc it is all used to read one’s fate. Thing is as time goes and depends on what this person do line on the palm would change. So, there is a saying ‘if habit change the fate will change. ‘
2. People like shaman and fortune teller they are under influence of devil. The power of devil to read future isn’t stable, but they have power to read past and present of man. So, they can come to you when you have certain concern and gives solution to it. When you go to fortune teller you list your concerns and later on devil will put you into dangerous situation.
3. Ex-fortune teller who changed her life says if there are two ways to change your fate it will be getting stroke by lightning or believing in Jesus.
B) Jesus, who changed fate.
In book of John chapter 4 there is a story of Jesus meeting a woman by the well
A Samaritan Woman Meets Her Messiah
4 Therefore, when the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John 2 (though Jesus Himself did not baptize, but His disciples), 3 He left Judea and departed again to Galilee. 4 But He needed to go through Samaria.
5 So He came to a city of Samaria which is called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 6 Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied from His journey, sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour.
7 A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.” 8 For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.
9 Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”
11 The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? 12 Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?”
13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”
15 The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw.”
16 Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here.”
17 The woman answered and said, “I have no husband.”
Jesus said to her, “You have well said, ‘I have no husband,’ 18 for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly.”
19 The woman said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. 20 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship.”
21 Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
25 The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things.”
26 Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.”
27 And at this point His disciples came, and they marveled that He talked with a woman; yet no one said, “What do You seek?” or, “Why are You talking with her?”
28 The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, 29 “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” 30 Then they went out of the city and came to Him.
Yes, woman who was unfortunate life changed into overflowing happy life after meeting Jesus by the well.
When you read a bible, all kinds of people who met Jesus changed their lives. Jesus cured lepers who were accused to be cursed, raised a stroke patient from strokes, saved a woman who caught from committing adultery and about to be stoned to death and live a new life, and saved a man who were possessed by a ghost for many years. Like so, people who met Jesus that had unfortunate lives changed into new and happy lives.
2. There are true stories like this.
There are pianist called pianist of four fingers her name is heeah Lee, with two hands combined she has 4 fingers total, and she does not have legs below her knees. However, she can play Chopin's Fantaisie-Impromptu. This song is so hard people with normal number of fingers struggle to even play. But, she managed to play this difficult song and gave hopes to people have physical limitation. When she was first born her parents wanted her to become able to grab a pencil, so they decided to teach her a piano. With normal thinking of people she does not look like she can play piano, but she made it work. Later on, reporter from one of magazine asked heeah a question. “ what made you overcome your physical limit?” Heeah Lee replied, “because God wanted, so it is possible.” As she grows her parent showed her bible videos, and had time to pray. Playing piano was hard, but she thought of Jesus carrying his cross and grew her faith and ability to overcome hardships. She believed Jesus was always with her and with her strong sturdy faith she was able to change her faith.
3. There is a woman named Lena Maria, she was born in Sweden with physical limitation, which are no arms and one leg shorter than the other. Hospital wanted parents to put her in facilities where she could be take care of, but parents took care of her as what God gave them and grew her with all their hearts. Later on, she grew and became a swimmer who took 4 gold medals from world Paralympic swimming contest. After that she became a gospel singer and touring all countries to share God’s love.
4. Loving everyone, if you look into short future from fortune teller, life will not change. More so, it will cause trouble for the wrong run. So, if you trembled into trouble ask Jesus for a help. Take your time to know Jesus and change your life. Worship God and do church works. God’s words helps you change from old worldly habit. Through church service let us meet God and hear his voice.
Even today, Jesus says, ““I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” When we follow Jesus automatically blessing will follow that God gives. Also, we earn wisdom, ability to victor, happiness through God. God also gives richness into our lives and he heals our lives. Hallelujah!
